Video

I wanted to say thanks to those of you who have taken the time to watch the above video. It's about what Borderline Personality Disorder feels  like. When I first viewed it I cried... it was as if everything I'd ever wanted to say about BPD was being said for me.

Hopefully it will bring more awareness of this disorder and bring understanding, compassion and acceptance.

It does help to understand, Jackal. Compassion is what I felt when I watched it.

It does help to understand, much better than a clinical definition. Thank you for sharing, as always.

Hi Jackal,

I love this video. I used it when I did my borderline personality disorder series. It was so powerful to me. It made me cry too as I realized how much pain there is with the disorder...how much pain that I have inside. Thank you for sharing this. I also plan to share it on Go! Smell the Flower eventually.

...and the song fits perfectly. What song is that. I recognize the voice but can't bring up her name.

Thank you for posting this.

Hi there... I see your comments here & there so was curious about your blog, & watched the video... in the last little while I worked with a high school student with BPD (I'm a teacher) and this helped me see her in a new way. Thank you very much.

I found the video both moving and at times hard. Many folk have a very blinkered view of such health issues, and likewise for many other issues abound in life. I thank you for posting this video and for letting others see and may be try to understand what it is like, both to have this illness and that we are all human, and that we are not "mad"...just "normal" like everyone else..Bless you Jackal for sharing this video with the rest of us.

I'm late, as I always am, but this made me cry...
compassion is something I've always had... I'm just no good at saying the things that need to be said..
A wonderful side affect of being introverted..... and I understand more than you might believe...

xxx
as for what it says at the end, yes you are and never forget it...
